Where do to begin! Maybe with another apology for my typing, please forgive me ha! This was a great week in Pau (poe)! I am learning a lot and my brain kills from the french, but that is a good thing right?! Since Soeur Cerdhe and i are both new to this area and we are opening an equipe (there was only one set of sisters before us) everything is new, we are starting from a blank slate! We are searching for people to teach and really trying to let less actives know that they are missed and loved! This week we stopped by a man Roger who had been taught by the missionaries a long time ago but never went anyahere. We werent sure what to expect, but he let us in so that was awesome!! We ended up tqlking to him for forever!! Well soeur cerdhe did because he talked sooo fast and slurrs everything together so i didnt stand a chance haha! after atleast an hour of them talking my brain was fried and so dead from trying to discern the conversation, i started dozing off but i was trying to hard to stay in it so i prayed for juice ha, this sounds pathetic, but i just prayed that he would offer some juice so i could up my blood sugar, and guess what happened!? He stood up went into the kitchen and brought out juice for us haha!! I was dying, Heavenly Father hears even the most simple prayers! I was so grateful for it because next we talked to his wife Maria while he ran an errand and this poor woman is the most negative, sad person i have ever met. My heart really hurts for her.. She just needs to know that Heavenly Father is there and that she is loved, she didnt accept anything that we had to say, but im not giving up on her she needs help. We are going to try and meet with her this week and pray that she will let the spirit into her life! The work is busy, we have ALOT of finding to do!!

This week a family in our ward the Leangs, they are cambodian, invited us over for dinner. I guess they have had the ,issionaries over for dinner every week for 18 yers, since they were baptized. Crazy huh? They just really dont take no for an answer for them it is how they show their gratitude; they really are so humble and sweet!! Such a funny family! They made us the best food. Sister leang made these roll things called nems, soo good! I got the recipe so ill whip them up someday!

Another food thing, we drink milk in cartons off the shelf which seriously creeps me out, but it is cheap so whatever but i hadnt tasted it plain until the other night and it was a bad idea, you know how i like my skim milk, yeah it doesnt taste like milk... so only on cereal fro, now on!

A funny story about the french, so they kind of liket o keep to themselves. The other dqy i smikled at an old woman and said bonjour and her friend looked at me so weird and asked if we knew eachother ha.. That happens alot, but then there are people who really appreciate a smile and a hello!! And tell us thank you for our kindness! Either way i love seeing peoples reactions, and letting then know they are loved!

Well family i am running out of time, we have a busy day! A lot of stuff to get done todqy qnd nothing too adventerous ha!! I love you all so much! I am humbled and grqteful to be here in Pau. We are so blessed to know our Savior, there are people out there who dont know Him, can you imagine what that kind of life would be like? It hurts my heart so we better get to work on Pau! I love you!

Love Soeur Kupfer
