Bonjour!!!

This first week has been so amazing! Soeur Anderson and I get along so good, she is just hilarious and we are always laughing about something even admist the difficult times here in Pau. As of right now we are in a finding stage, searching for the people who are ready for the gospel and willing to learn more about the Savior. So this week We went out to pass an inactive who i have yet to see at church yet, we talked to her for awhile and she was super nice, we are hoping we can help her get back to church. Right as we were laeving her house a huge rain storm hit and we didnt have our umbrellas haha, so we were stuck in the rain and had 20 minutes until the next bus came. We couldve waited undter the bus stop but we decided maybe we could find some sympathetic person if we went out porting haha! So us two, soaking wet sisters ported and we got some crazy looks but sadly no one let us in! The bus came and we went along passing by some old amis to no avail and just contacting like crazy! While we were out soaking wet our dinner appointment called and cancelled so we decided we would pass by another less active Soeur Cassou who is 73 and lives all alone. We soaned her building and she was so happy to her our voices and let us right in! We talked for awhile and she was really in distress, she had been having such a hard day, she said she prayed this morning to know if God knew who whe was and that she didnt get an answer, but then she said we were the answer. I had called her the day before to try to fix a rendevous and left her a message and she said she tried to write down our number but that i had said it too fast (whoops), so she couldnt call us to tell us to come over this night. As we were talking I relly felt promted for my companion and I to sing Where can I Turn for Peace, so we did and this sweet woman was in tears the entire song. She called us her angels over and over and just hugged us. The spirit was so strong. It just felt right after we left her apartment. I know that as we are doing the things we are supposed to be doing the Lord will be able to fulfill His purposes through us. In order for us to be in here area at that time we had to get drenched in the rain, not go home to change, contact in her area, our appointment had to fall through and we had to feel the need to go see her. We may not have found a new ami or someone who wants to get baptized, but I would work in the rain all over again just to be able to be an insturment in the Lords hand! I am so grateful to be a missionary, I absolutely love my mission and i am so grateful for all the support I have! I love you all!!

Love Soeur Kupfer!!
