thanksgiving in cannes!!

We had a great Thanksgiving with the other missionnaries in your district, in a ville called cannes! All lt missionnaries are american , but 1, he is from a the canary islands. It was hilarious explaining what thanksgiving was to him, he was really confused about ahy we call it thanksgiving if we just make abuch of food and eat it? It turned out really good though!

This week we had another lesson with Tony, he is progressing so well and really understand the doctrine. We have to move slow with him because he is really intellectual and refelcts on thing suntil he understandsit, but the spirit always testifies of the truth to him and he acknowledges it. We teach him with a member frere kanote and our member told us if this guy continues he is going to become one of the strongest members in france. We are just so excited for him and pray that he will keep his faith!

We had a really neat experience acouple days ago we made some treats for the family Kanote because they teach with us alot. We jumped on the bus and go to the general area in which they live. We got there and realized we forgot to write down their exact address. We hasd some time so we decided to pray and start porting and hope that we would run into their name on one of the doors or someone that needed us. We chose a building and the bottom door was open which is unusal, we walked in and i was just looking at the mailboxes when i was a members name; Soeur Robquin! We had tried to set rdv's up with her numerous times but she never accepted and she hadntbeen to church in over a month. We went stright to her door and knocked; she was home and invited us in! We had such a directed spiritual message and at the end she was asking ahen we could come over again. She is really sick and thanked us for chooseing to stop by her house that day. It was such a testimony of prayer for me! I know God hears our prayers and wants us to be able to help His children in need! I love this work and I love our Savior. Thank you all fo ryour suport!!
