I love it so much! It is quite a big change from annemasse! Instead of walking 8 miles a day from appoiontment to appointment we jump on crowded underground metros and talk to people from all over the world, it is so interesting! there is always something going on! I love my comp Soeur D, she is great, so sweet!
This past week we had a good handful of lessons, none of our amis are really progressing though, so we might have to drop some and start looking for people aho are ready to commit! It will be good. Yesterday evening after church there was a big missionary fireside for all of the four wards here in Lyon at our church (which is in a building, not a chapel, i will take a picture). It was so great 3 recents converts bore their testimonies and then President Roney spoke to everyone that had come, members, amis, and us missionaries! The spirit was so strong, I feel so blessed to be in this mission and to get to here President Roney testify of the Savior often, whenever he does i know that He knows our Savior. My testimony has grown so much thanks to him sharing his. Lyon is wonderful! This week we have Clutchs brihday! I have been thinking about him so much and I am so grateful for the Perspective that this gospel gives to us. An eternal perspective makes all the difference. The quality of Clutchs life is truly remarkable. He has touched so many lives, his impact is crossing oceans and flooding foreign lands. This week we were teaching a woman, colette the plan of salvation. She stopped us at one point during the lesson and asked us if we have ever lost someone dear to us. I started to tear up a little because just that morning i had hung up pictures of Clutch on my desk and was really thinking about him. I got to tell her a little bit about Clutch and testify of the peace that we have felt because of the knowledge of this pan. She was really touched, and ended up opening up and sharing a story about the day she lost her father. He was older and had cancer, she was walking into the hospital with her 5 year old son and he stopped her, took her hand andpointed to each 2 of her fingers, and said, " mommy dont be said grandpa lived in 2 houses and now he is just going to his next house" ,touching her 3rd finger. He then said, "plus he will look like me" as he patted his soft, young 5year old face, spotless from the damages of a long life. We shared the scriptures in alma 11;42-44, about the resurrection. She was so touched. It is just amazing to see the handprints of Clutch that are left on so many hearts. I love him! I know that our family is eternal. I am so grateful for this gift from our Loving Heavenly Father. I love you all so much and pray that you have a great week! thanks for all that you do for me!
Love Sister Kupfer
