(It wont show what pictures these are so i have no idea what I am sending you haha.... Enjoy!)
Ma Famille!!
I Love you all so much, I can't even begin to express all of my feelings! Can you beleive we are getting a Temple?! That is amazing! Wow we are so blessed! They have changed email time to 1 hour so that is a little bit better!! I must start by telling all of you thank you so much for your letters! Letters are amazing after a long hard day of studying. I have so much support back home, i know i do, i feel it every single day! I can feel your prayers. I'm the type of person who normally would be so homesick at this point, but I feel so strong in that area. I miss you all, that is no doubt, but it does not distract me from the work. The work... The work is hard, but very rewarding! French is tricky for me. It is very intimidating. I have to continually remind myself that I have only been here in the MTC for 5 days haha... It will come with time I know it will. I am just continuing to trust in the Lord and do my part. I have prayed for humbling experinces and lets just say i have gotten them:) I am grateful though, I have come closer to the Lord in these past 5 days than any other time in my life, I would struggle through anything for that blessing. The spirit here is great! My companion and I are shooting for 100% obedience, that is the only way to do the Lords work, it is not our work, it is His, so we must do it His way. For this reason I will only write letters and email on my P-day which will be tuesdays! I have to email today because tomorrow I am flying to San Fransisco at 5am to go to the French Consolite to get my Visa? All of us Lyon Missionaries must do it. We will fly there and back in 1 day!haha It is crazy. Im sure all of you are wondering about my life here so let me tell you! My companions name is Soeur Fortuna! She is from Illinois. She is 20, studied at BYU, is awesome at french and has a missionary in Brazil (I lucked out there, she enjoys hearing about Elder Halladay!). We get along well and I love her! OUr room is full of Lyon Soeurs. Souer Luthi and Russell, Soeur Bonunotta and Recevuer! I am the only utah girl in the room! Our room is only supposed to have 4 girls in it but because of the influx there are 6 of us haha... Imagine that. It is just packed and insane, but it is great we all have a good time! Soeur Bonunotta is from Italy and has an amazing accent!! Everything she says is hilarious, you guys would love her! At every meal she complains about our American food she will say things like, "this sauce sucks" In a straight Italian accent, it is amazing!!! Soeur Russell is also so funny, I could laugh with her all day if it weren't for our rigerous study schedule. She has such a soft and big hear! She is just one of a kind and I love her! The elders in our district are great too! Elder Dover and Erickson, Elder Taylor, Anderson, and Bruer. Elder Taylor is Dain Murdocks buddy and he is hilarious, always making us laugh! I'll tell you a typicall day here at the MTC. I wake up at 6am and have prayer. Then I head to the showers! If you wake up early then there is no line so it isnt bad! We have to be in our classroom at 7am. So we study there until 7:30 then head to breakfast, the meals are interesting... typically for breakfast I will eat some fruit and cereal or something! THen we head back to the class and have personal and companion study until 12 when we have lunch! After lunch we have language study until 2, when we head to the gym. I will run or do some other work outs. That time is wonderful for my brain! After that we have a half hour until we are back at the classroom for more language study! Then from 6 to 9 we have a teacher who pretty much just teaches how to teach! She speaks mostly French so it is ususally flys over my head, but I will get it!! Then at 9:30 we get ready for bed and lights are out at 10:30! I can't believe how much is packed into 1 day here at the MTC! It feels great to be so productive doing the Lords work. At the end of each day I just want to be able to tell all of you all the things I have learned, but I am keeping a journal so someday hopefull I will be able to share some more details of that journal! You must all know that as hard as this is I wouldn't rather be anywhere else! I am so priviledged to be a servant of the Lord for these next 18 months and the rest of my life! This expereince is pushing me to the edge, but that is how it should be. When you are pushed as far as you can possibly go your only next step is to turn to the Lord. How can I say I am a diciple of Christ if I am not willing to struggle a little. I am so grateful for this opportunity to be humbled and struggle, I know it will make me a better missionary! I love you all so much! Please know that I pray for each of you every single day with all that you have going on. I am so blessed to have been born into a strong faithful family! I love you all!
