Bonjour!
This was a really wonderful week in so many ways and also a week of learning!! We had some more lessons with our amis Gihad and Leonel, both of which were so great! They both really have a sincere desire to keep learning and are excersing faith. Especially Gihad who we are teaching with gospel art pictures which really helps him to understand the lessons better. He closed the lesson with a prayer in his language and it was so so neat! Is is so neat to be able to feel the spirit no matter what language is being spoken.
The interesting part of this week was the finding aspect! We went out with our hearts full of faith, but we just didnt cross paths with people who wanted to learn. Sunday we were walking home from church, a pretty good walk of an hour or so, and my comp was feeling a little down and out because this week was a tough one. And so I just tried to flip it around, I said that is exactly how satan wants us to feel, He wants us to feel like we are doing something wrong, or that we arent bring people unto Christ, but it isnt true! As long as we are working and doing our best we are fulfilling our purpose, and then i said, "I just want to punch satan in the face", which I dont know if that is very appropriate or not haha, but just then, literally right after i said it, there was a car parked, full of people that we didnt notice we had walked passed and they hollered out to us to come talk to them. They wanted to know more about the church and wanted a card with our number! We didnt get to fix a rendevous, but you never know, we might be getting a call! The Lord works in mysterious ways eh? We just have to exercise our faith and be patient in the meantime knowing that the people that say no have no diea what they are saying no to. I am so so grateful for all the lessons I have learned this week. We are all brothers and sisters, one big family, here on earth to help each other get back to our Father. I love you so much and hope you have a wonderful week!! Thank you for you support!!
