(First letter from Uganda!)

Famille!!!

I sorry this might be a little short! I dont have much time! This past
week we had Blues Conference in Lyon for all of the new missionaries.
So all the missionnaries that came in when i came in! It awas so much
fun to see all of my sisters from the MTC and to see how much we have
changed for the ebtter these past 6 weeks. It was a 3 day conference,
1 day to travel there and one day to travel back!

President Roney started out the conference, He is such an amazing man!
So full of the spirit, everything he says is just intense you know it
is coming from God. He talked a lot on faith, on incresing our faith.
He said we have to set goals to do things that we have never done
before, that we cant do and then rely on Christ and just go and do
them! Simple as that. He really pushed doing things that we have never
done before. It was a little ironic that i got to do something i had
never done before just an hour or so later. After President talked the
APs wanted to practice a few things, First off they wanted to Practice
contacting which we do a lot of but us blues dont really do a whole
lot of it solo. When they said thats what we would be doing heavenly
father pretty much told lme that i was getting picked to go up and
demonstrate, funny how that works huh? So as i knew i would i got
chosen so infront of 70 missionaries and President i contacted in
French. Although it was just a practice I felt the gift of tongues
like never before. I was doing something I had never done before and
Christ did his part. I said things i definitely have never said
before, afterwards i was a little taken back and so grateful for the
Mercy i was shown! So this week we are going to be doing a lot of
things we have never done before and exercising, acting on the faith
that we do have, no matter how little or great it is! I am so happy
and so grateful to be a missionary here in Pau! Keep the faith! I love
