Bonjour famille!!

What a week it has been!! It has been so amazing and we have seen so many miracles! I dont have a lot of time because we are going to the Pyrenees today with the famille Riviere! So I will start with the big miracle. Im not sure if i told you but 2 weeks ago we met a young man named Nasser from Chad africa. He is here in Pau finishing his masters in petroleum enginerring. We had a last minute rendevous with a member and so we ran to he bus stop to catch the only bys that takes us straight to the church. We got to the bus stop and Nasser was there, I started talking to him and He was waiting for the same bus too. The  bus never came? So the three of us walked to the next bus stop and talked on the way. He saw the Book Of Mormon in our hands and told us he had a mormon friend back home.We gave him the book, but we had to get to the church and the bus still never came so we ran. Last night we had our first rendevous with him. We started the lesson just giving him a little overview of who we are as missionnaries and what we teach, then we told him when you know that these things are true you will want to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized. Normally here nobody says anything, but he asked us "And how is that done?" We explained  that it is done like Christ and he said "Oh very good, I am not baptized bu maybe I will be baptized into your church". then he had a question that we didnt want to get into the first lesson, he asked how marriages worked in the mormon church. Thankfully i had apicture of a temple in my bag so i pulle dit out zand we just said that when mormons mary in the temple it is by gods authority and it is sealed for the eternities so we can live with our spouses and families forever. We were expecting the thousand questions tha people normally shoot at us, but all he said was " That is beauiful". We were just kind of dumb founded that he was so open. His next question really got us, he asked, "How long will i take for me to get baptized?" I wish you could have seen our faces, he started laughing, so it must have meant they were really funny haha... THe spirit was still here though and we explained that all he had to do was take the lessons, come to church, and pray to know for himself if this is Gods plan for him. He said he really wants to understand the church and that he will pray and listen for Gods reply. THis man is golden. It didnt matter what we came to this lesson intending to teach, God let him know what needed to happen and the spirit directed everyhing else. So we are meeting with him again this week and we are praying that He wont face any opposition in the meantime. Soeur Anderson and I almost fainted when at the end of the lesson he tolds us this, " My goals in life are to get baptized, finish my degree, get a job, find a partner, have a family, live the commandments, die and then live forever with my family".  Then he said, " I just really hope I can be a Mormon someday". He is on his way to prepare for baptism. After the lesson we were speechless, we walked off and offered a prayer of ratiude to our Heavenly Father. Not once on my mission yet had I seen any of these things, not once has someone been so willing to follow their Savior. Our hearts were, and are full. We are just praying that with coninued diligence and complete obedience the Lord will allow us to teach this elect child of His. I love my mission, I am the happiest I have ever been. I have a testimony of diligence and obedience, when we give the Lord everything we have He will make it worth our while. I love you all so much!

Love Soeur Kupfer
