Bonjour Famille!!
Our First full week in Toulon has been so great! The weather has been beautiful, it is sunny and there is a little constant breeze since we are near the water, good working weather:)!! We have been doing a lot of contacting to find some new amis! We have 1 new ami and her name is Madame Volpie, she is in her 60s and is so sweet!! She lives right by our church and has seen the Elders many times and right when we started talking to her she just invited us to her house! We had a lesson with her and she has so much faith, she is a non practicing catholic like most of france, but she is very willing to start reading the Book of Mormon. We have another lesson with her this week so I will let you know how that goes!
It has been 15 years since sister missionnaries have been in this area, and yesterday at church we really felt it! The ward is so excited to have us. They are amazing to us, wow, they treat us like gold. It is really humbling, It makes me want to work even harder so they can see the fruits of missionnary work. There is just a really neat spirit in their chaple, they are dedicated to the Lord and are so strong! I feel so blessed to get to serve with them. They are so ready to do missionnary work, they have given us 2 refferals already, which I have gotten just 1 on my mission up until now. They are not afraid to share the gospel with their friends because they understand the happiness that it brings to their lives and they have a real desire to invite their friends to have the same happiness! Folks I am so happy to be here in Toulon. It is a beautiful place that is ready for some love from the sisters! I am thankful for every minute I get to serve. I Love our Savior Jesus Christ, true happiness is found through Him and only through Him! I love you all have a great week!!
