I hope you all have a great thanksgiving this week. The French people are so silly about that holiday, they talk about how us americans are always eating so much and are so fat that it is just an excuse to eat more than normal. It is pretty funny!
THis past week has been super great! I dont have a lot of time so I will try to sum it all up! We went to a chestnut "marron" finding activity with some members and their nonmember friends! It was so great to get to be in that type of an environment and makes friend with their friends. Maybe someday something will come of it! We have solid members here in Toulon!
We had a lesson with Tony, we ended up keeping him as our ami. We were teaching Him the plan of salvation and He just had a lot of great questions, but He has a hard time understanding the atonement. He has family members who are members of nearly every religion so he knows a little bit of a lot. We taught him what the atonement was, and testified of it. The lesson moved on and about 15 minutes later while we were talking about something else He stopped abruptly and said "oh, bnow i understand the atonement" He was silent and just looked down for a minute and the spirit was super strong in the room. He was so happy at the end of the lesson. It is so neat to see someones faith in Jesus Christ grow before your eyes.
We didnt get to see melanie this week , but she told the Family Aomars (who are her member friends) that ever since she met us things have been working out in her life, she got accepted into a school and she feels happier. We will see her this week!
I am so happy to be a missionary it is the best work to be a part of. I love you all so much! Thank you for your suppport and prayers!
Love Soeur Kupfer!
