the elders in our district

THis
pday we went to the Famille Bonet's for the morning where we celebrated
a spanish holliday, had killer hot chocolate, watched The Otherwise Man
and toured Oloron(the prettiest ville ever!)
Bonjour! I am happy to hear everyone is doing good!
We
had a lot of fun this week. A member invited us over for New Years day
to lunch. They are fron Congo and 4 of the 8 adult kids were there. We
had so much fun eating delicious african food! I took a bite of some
meat dish and there was a bullet in it haha, they all laugh and just
told me that must mean it is really fresh! I was dying. We got talking
and ended up havinbg a really sweet lesson with one of our members sons
who is like 45 and has 5 kids (they dont live here, he was just in Pau
for the holidays) and we got to answer a lot of his questions concerning
the church and His sister got to bear testimony to him. It is
expereinces like that, that I live for! This past sunday we taught the
relief society (when my blue prayed for them she prayed to please bless
the societe de sucre, instead of societe de secour, so she prayed to
bless the society of sugar haha, it was reallll good. I love training!)
Anyhow the bishopric has asked the missionnaries to teach the first
Sunday every month to help the members share the gospel with their
friends. Soeur Bagley and I had the lesson kind of planned out, but half
way through we got the impression to take it another route, it ended up
turning into a really good discussion and we helped the members come up
with ways they could keep the spirit in situations when people are
questioning them, instead of getting defensive. We have great members
here in Pau and i am so excited for them to see the blessings sharing
the gospel!
I love you all, thanks for all you do!!
Love Soeur Kupfer
