Week 42 | Annemasse, France

I am here in Annemasse for another and so happy! THis week was so awsome, we are being blessed more than I can handle.OUr ami Eric is right on line for his baptism the 16th of March, ther eis nothing getting in his way, he is progressing amazingly! We taught him a few times this week first was on the Gospel, he said that the other churchs he would go to he would leave them and just feel confused, but everytime he leaves our church he has learned something new and feels like he is growing! It is a sign of the true church, God does nothing that confuses us, He teaches His children in a clear way that they can understand. It has been really cool to see how Eric has change from being super difficulte teach, and having bizarre responses, to who he is now! His mind is clear and he feels the spirit! Our second lesson was on the word of wisdom, he told us that he is so happy to know that here is other people out there like him! He told us often times he would be with his friends and order a coffee or tea then throw it away and his friends would mock him, but to him it just never felt like it was smart to drink those things. He said it doesnt make sense to drink something, but then tell a child they cant drink it! He accept the word of wisdom without a question, which isnt easy for people here most everyone smokes, and drinks coffee and tea. OUr Next lesson was tithing, before we had even taught it he asked if he could pay it before he was baptized haha, i havent had anyone ask that yet! We told him that he could pay fast offerings, or donate to the missionary or temple fund so he did that this past sunday. He told us he thinks the missionary fund is very important, he said no one should be held back from doing what you do because of a lack of money. He is amazing i am so excited for him!! Yesterday an ancient missionary who served in annemasse 10 years ago came to the ward with his parents, he is from Orem, his name is Brother Jensen. We had a neat opportunity to go and visit a family, the family Zogaj, that he baptized 10 years ago that has fallen less active. We have been working with this family, trying to help them get back to church and it seems like that visit is just what they needed. It is so neat to see how God works to bless His children!I love this work! I love you all! Have a great week!
