the Foltz family! hte fathe ris a member but his kids Medani and Oceane were baptized this sunday, they were taught by the elders! We are in the processe of teaching Sophie the mother and her sister Doris! they are so nice, such a darling family!
What a week! We did 3 exchanges again this week they were so much fun! I was with S. Johnson from california, S. Cherry from tennessee and S. ziane from france! I laughed too much htis week haha, i love working with these sisters, they are all so amazing!! We had zone conference in Geneva this week too. It was focused on love, President Roney was asking us how we can go and Preach the gospel to the world if we ourselves are not keeping the first two commandement, the Love God, and Love our neighbors as ourselves. God said "if ye love me keep my commandements" if we arent keeping the commandements of God we need to recheck ourselves. He talked about another problem that we often have, the problem of judging others, He said if we dont like other people because they dont htink the same as us then we are judging them- and if we judge others the atonement doesnt work for us, the Plan of salvation doesnt work for us. We were invtied to reevaluate our work and our levels of love, since Love is what makes everything else work! President Roney says he beleives that Love and Faith are the wealth of Heaven! I believe this and know that if we want to be happy in this next life we must do our best to act in Love and Faith!
We had such a cool miracle this week, we got another refferal from the church headquarters, which doesnt happen often. It was in a small ville outside of annemasse to we took a bus 45 minutes out and knocked on this door not knowing what to expect. Come to find out it was a 29 year old girl names jennifer, whose mother was baptize din paris 6 years ago. Jennifer has recently taken up interest in the church and has been going to church every weekend in paris, she is reading the BOM and loves it! She has Gospel library abd Mormon channel on her iphone and useses them everyday! She told us she wants to be baptized, but wants our help to really prepare. It was really the coolest lesson i have had yet on my mission, she is so prepared, she works in geneva and has some big exams coming up this next week, so we cant see her, but i will keept you updated on her! Just when we were a little let down because we were getting turned down so much we see this miracle! She is so cool! She even loves baseball because her father is from Cuba! I love my mission. We have the priviledge in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to live the true gospel everyday, this is not any other church, it is the Church of Christ. I love you all!
Love Soeur Kupfer
